I’m back!
Iâm back!
First of all I would like to wish you all a happy new year.
I had a wonderful new years in Los Angeles with my boyfriend and our friends and I want to tell you all about it but that’s a story for a whole new blog đ
It is so wonderful to see how hopeful people get when the New Year starts. Â It feels like everyone is ready to let go of 2015 with all of its drama. It wasnât a good year I must say with all the horrible things that happened in our world but now we have to face it, embrace it and let it go before finally opening our arms to the new year. We have gained knowledge, wisdom and sympathy for our fellow people from all around the world and now we will use that wisdom to make this year a better one.
Youâve probably noticed that I am writing in English now and that is one of my resolutions for the New Year. I am going to write more! – for a larger audience  and be a little bit more comfortable doing so, since my language skills in English are far more advanced than the Swedish ones. I hope you like my new style and keep on reading and sharing.  I would really appreciate it đ
Today is a actually a pretty special day for me since it is exactly one year since we came out with the news that we were going to compete in the Icelandic preliminary contest for Eurovision. It was one of the coolest things Iâve ever done and also one of the hardest.
Last year was a really big year for me in so many ways but it also helped me get a clearer picture of what I should be doing with my life and my career. Â For the last couple of months I have been writing new songs, with new people and really try to figure out what it is that I want to say with my music and I feel like itâs all on the right track now. There might be awhile until I release anything but the process is half the fun!
I really hope you have a wonderful year ahead of you and I wish you all the best.
Yours truly,
Daniel Oliver
