Sunday get-away
One of the best things that happened last year is that we bought a summerhouse in the middle of the wood. It‘s only 45 minutes away from Stockholm but it feels like you’re on the country side when you get there.
When you live in the center of Stockholm you can get a bit anxious from time to time. The need to get away becomes bigger and bigger the longer you stay in the city. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that we need nature and we need peace and the constant noise and stimuli from every corner takes its toll in the end.
We drove up there this morning, turned on the electricity, lighted up the fireplace and made some coffee. After talking a walk in the wood and checking out the white beach we went inside and grilled some hot dogs on the fire stove and drank our last bottle of “julmust” the Swedish traditional Christmas drink.
